I’m sure you didn’t care were wondering why I didn’t show off my beautiful blog-worthy holiday card that showed off my beautiful blog-worthy family. I would have liked to, really! But here’s the thing…
I can’t get all four boys in one decent photo to save my life.
Here’s a taste of our attempts to capture the quintessential Christmas morning in matching pajamas (except, oops, I started my quest too late and couldn’t even find pjs for Fidget, let alone ones that matched- seriously, who gave me a blog?)
So yeah… no family photos for us this Christmas. Cute kids though. There’s always next year! And speaking of next year, will someone remind me to start looking for Christmas pajamas as soon as we finish trick-or-treating on Halloween? Or at least sometime before Christmas Eve… which is when I bought Fidget’s non-Christmas-but-at-least-they’re-red pajamas that are seen here.
Worst. Mommy. Blogger. Ever.

Oh my gosh. I just love you and stuff. Do I say that all the time? Does it creep you out?

It would creep me out if you were standing outside my window holding a sign that said as much.
Is that oddly specific?
We’re a match made in heaven.

Yes family photos are tricky…. Mine weren’t great this year but it’s still a snapshot of our silly littles as they are. May not be amazing perfect but it’s reality.
And yes – we started looking for pjs the week before Thanksgiving and they were already hard to find matching sets for my 3. Crazy! My mom and I already said we need to start looking for them at Halloween this year.

Your kids are ADORABLE! And my kids are 8 and 4 and I couldn’t find matching PJs for them ANYWHERE (and I DID start early!). I would just send the non-perfect pictures!

Omg I laughed so hard, I loved this!

If it makes you feel any better Claire I wasn’t even close to sending out Christmas cards either! Love your post–you always make me laugh!

I sent mine out two days before Christmas. Meaning the farther-away folks are going to get them next week. Oh well!
And these are terrific photos, anyway. Your kids are totally adorable, Claire!

awesome! I know exactly how you feel. the window is small even to get the bodies in no matter what they are doing. We had a neighbor take a few quick family shots and then I tried to get just the boys and couldn’t even get weston to be in it. Sounds familiar…. We hope you guys had a great Christmas and that the new year brings lots of new – good adventures! Love the blog, give all those sweet boys hugs for me.

I think these pics are way better than a staged holiday card! Love your fam.

This is hysterical. Your captions are the best! But you’re right – adorable boys! Happy Holidays!!

I loved the pictures! It captures reality
It took shooting over 50 photos to get one for our card this year where everyone was looking decent.
